So I guess blogging is pretty much the only thing I can do on this new internet connection. Two years of waiting for the internet here, and when it gets here, I can't check any of the sites that I want to! I have spent all morning so far on how to get around this "SonicWall" content filter, which I am reasonably sure is in place here. All I find are the ramblings of a bunch of frustrated teenagers who want their myspace at school. I can understand that, but I feel like I am a bit more entitled to unlimited internet here. The boss man has been putting off high speed internet for fear that his employees will stop doing their jobs. I can understand his fears, but monitoring the net like all his employees are in high school or prison is kind of ridiculous. I don't even work for the man, my program rents this site, and I believe it was my program which has been pushing for this internet. I am still holding out hope for a higher level of access for our program's computers.
